Eye Care Specialist, Eye Surgeon, Ophthalmologist I graduated from Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. In 2004, I completed my residency in ophthalmology at Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology. In 2008, I started to work in Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology. In 2011, I stayed as a "Vitreoretinal Clinical Research Fellow" at Saint Louis University in the United States for one year and gained experience in retinal/uveal diseases. I received the title of Associate Professor in 2014. I passed the European Board of Ophthalmology in 2015 and got the FEBO title, and I passed the International Council of Ophthalmology in 2016 and got the FICO title. In 2018, I won the "Publication Performance" first prize in the field of Health Sciences at Pamukkale University, and the first prize in the "Retinal Research" competition, which was prepared the contributions of BAYER and held by the Turkish Ophthalmology Association, in 2019. I got the title of “Professor of Ophthalmology” in 2019. In 2023, I finished the Neuroscience Doctorate Program in Pamukkale University and had a PhD degree in neuroscience. Retina, uvea, neuroophthalmology and lens diseases are my main fields of interest. I have given academic lectures at meetings and published many studies in international/national scientific journals. I have retired from Pamukkale University Department of Ophthalmology and I continue my scientific activities in private practice.
